How it works
Three things, and nothing else.
A map, not a feed
Every event in your city on one map, from official calendars and from people like you. Today, live, nearby. No scrolling.
Go together
Join solo or with your crew. See who else is going, message them, share your location with your group while the event is on.
Then it is over
When the event ends, the chat, the locations and the traces go with it. Patwy remembers your friends, not your evenings.
Why Patwy
Because it is on your side. Three things we will not compromise on: your privacy, your security, and your freedom from algorithms.
We do not sell your data.
No ads, no trackers, no data brokers. Nothing about you is the product.
We do not keep a history of your location.
Your position is shared only with the people you chose, only while an event is on. When it ends, it is gone.
You decide who knows your name.
To everyone else you are a codename. Your real name is for your friends and the people you go out with.
Safe to use, safe to go out.
You sign in with an account you already have, so there is no password to lose. What you share stays between you and the people you shared it with. Meet people under your codename, and if someone makes you uncomfortable, one tap blocks them.
No feed. No shorts. No tricks.
Nothing here is built to keep you scrolling: no infinite feed, no autoplay, no ranking tuned for attention, no notifications nagging you to come back. You look at a map of your city, filter it by your interests, and you decide.
Everything ages out.
Messages, history and actions are deleted after 30 days. Social media is not supposed to keep a complete record of your life.
Technology should help you find friends, be yourself and socialize.
That is what social software was meant for. We measure ourselves on people you meet, not on time you spend in the app.

How we pay for it
So you never have to wonder what the catch is.
A small platform fee on paid events
When an organizer sells tickets through Patwy, we take a small fee on the sale. Free events cost nothing, to anyone.
Donations
If you like the app, you can support it. That is the second and last way money comes in.

No ads, no selling data, no premium tier that holds your friends hostage. If this ever changes, you hear it from us first.
